This hotel is situated in the heart of the little timbered village of Hallenberg, set into the magical landscape of the Sauerland region and only 15 km from Winterberg.

The Sauerland attracts many mountain bikers and hikers, due to its extensive tracks and trails of varying difficulties. In the winter, skiers can look forward to beautiful nearby snowy pistes and there are also many day trip destinations in the area, such as Edersee Lake. Steal some relaxing hours in the 1000m² large Diedrich SPA and enjoy our extensive beauty and spa offers.

Since its opening in 1898 this hotel has been family-run by the family Diedrich, who maintain the hotel with a personal and intimate air. As hosts they look forward to being able to welcome you to their hotel.

The Hotel Diedrich provides 62 comfortable and modern rooms in different categories, all of which are easily accessible via the lift. The price differences are based on the varying size, furnishings and location of the rooms.

All rooms provide a safe and a mini bar. We can gladly rent you a bath robe for extra comfort.

Get to know the Sauerland hospitality from its most beautiful side!

Enjoy our à la carte menu in our restaurant or, if you are staying as half-board, indulge in our 4 course menu.

At our bar of our cosy beer parlour James Bierladen you can meet some of the locals and relax next to the fireplace.

Try a cocktail in our historical vaulted pub "Postkeller". Within the ruins of this building, built in 1898, you can soak up the history and sit long into the night.

Our barbecue hut has capacity for up to 70 people.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
