Today, the Atlas Posthotel rises in the middle of Garmisch pretty and decorated as it has to be for the traditional " Post ". If you love the charm of old ancient houses, you will feel well here. How many prominent figures and monarchs honoured the Posthotel is difficultly to say, and the old golden guest books are read as an excerpt from " Gotha " and " Who is Who ".

You leave Munich on the highway A 95 direction Garmisch-Partenkirchen passing Fürstenried and Forstenried. After 82 km or
53 min. the highway ends in the national B 2 and after further 3 minutes driving you turn on your right hand side direction Garmisch.
Arrived in Garmisch, when you see the St. Martins church on your lefthand side, you find the Atlas Posthotel on your righthand side.
