The hotel offers a selection of standard rooms and business class rooms. All rooms feature soundproofed windows, a writing desk, TV, pay TV, free wireless internet, telephone, hairdryer, toiletries and a free mini-bar which is restocked every day. In addition to the standard features, business class rooms feature special luxury mattresses, bathrobes, slippers, fresh fruit as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Business class guests are also entitled to a voucher for a free welcoming drink from the bar, a free sports channel and a printer/scanner upon request.
In the morning we will spoil you with a nutritious "Full American Breakfast" with salmon, scrambled eggs, muesli, or something from our carefully-selected Bio-corner. In the evenings, you are invited to dine in the comfortable and stylish atmosphere of our restaurant. The array of international specialities and the exclusive selection of fine wines will undoubtedly please your palate. You can choose from an à la Carte menu and an additional programme of seasonal dishes.
A number of famous sights are to be found in the heart of Frankfurt, in close proximity to the main railway station and right next to the Hotel Monopol. The trade fair complex, big banks and cultural pearls such as the Goethehaus, the Alte Oper, the Städel, the Römer, the Ballet and the theatres and galleries of the alternative art scene are just a stone's throw away. Frankfurt Airport is a mere 12 minutes away. The main railway station and public transport facilities are so close that you can reach them on foot.
The Hotel Monopol is located directly opposite to the SOUTH exit of the Frankfurt central railway terminal. BY CAR: At first, follow the direction signs 'Stadtmitte / Hauptbahnhof' (city center / main station.) When coming from the north ('Platz der Republik'), the railway station is at the right hand side. Pass the station and turn left into the next street ('Mannheimer Street'.) When coming from the south ('Friedensbruecke'), the station will be at the left hand side. Beforehand, turn left at the 'Baseler Platz' into the 'Karlsruher Street' and then right into the 'Mannheimer Street'. BY TRAIN: After arrival at the central railway terminal, please take the SOUTH exit. The Hotel Monopol is located directly opposite to the exit. BY PLANE: Follow the singns for the local transport ('S-Bahn'). When buying your ticket at the ticket machine, please choose first direction (no. 50), second the ticket type (single or group). Take the S-Bahn no. 8, direction Frankfurt central train terminal ('Hauptbahnhof'). Get off at the central station and leave the station concourse from the SOUTH exit. The Hotel Monopol is located directly opposite to the exit. In case you are taking a taxi, the fare is about EUR 20.- or more and about 20 minutes travelling time.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
