Our rooms are as individual as the guests who stay in them.
Rather than standard hotel furnishings, we offer seventy different rooms which we helped to furnish and design ourselves, focussing on ambience, light, air and colour.

In the morning the rich breakfast buffet awaits you - in summer you can enjoy it on our garden terrace. Here you can treat yourself to half and hour of "culinary recuperation" before the rigours of the day begin.

In just 10 minutes, our guests can reach the KölnMesse trade fair grounds, the favourite meeting point for two million buyers and visitors from 175 countries and 38,000 exhibitors from 125 countries. With 286,000 m² of hall space, this is one of the largest trade fair grounds in the world.
Our service includes the complementary trade fair shuttle service – a relaxing way to get to the major Cologne trade fairs on time.

The KölnArena, the musical dome, numerous museums and parks, the philharmonic concert hall and many theatres and cabarets ensure a vast array of entertainment which isn't exclusive to the carnival season. The cultural side of Cologne is open to you 365 days a year. Here you can find the current programmes of events and concert dates.

Staying and relaxing in the Hotel Silencium – close in every aspect: only 800 metres from the Refrath motorway exit, only 8 km away from Cologne/Bonn airport, and a tram journey of less than 30 minutes from the main train station. And getting from the hotel to the city is even faster: By car or tram, you can be at the trade fair grounds and in the heart of the city in just 15 minutes.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 9.00 per night and person for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and charges are applicable.
Internet via modem is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets: Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.
