Villa Tummelchen is located on Schlossstrasse. The street that leads directly to Reichsburg Castle. The bed and breadfast is a 2 minute walk to Cochem's Marketplatz and a 6 minute walk to the castle.

Our great guestrooms are romantically decorated, and prepared ready to welcome our guests. Some rooms include Four-poster beds to ensure the total in relaxation. The breathtaking view over Cochem Town and the Mosel River allows our guest to engage in precious moments of peace and enjoyment. Some rooms include balconies on which one can enjoy the magnificent view. Every room has been made to please, with love to detail. All of our rooms a shower, sink and toilet. Also every room has a satillite television and telephone. We also have a family apartment you may inquire about.

We offer a variety of delicious snacks. Mr Luy, an accomplished baker, prepares a wide choice of cakes and pastries. Coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine are also available day and night.

We also offer the perfect setting for all kinds of parties, from weddings to family barbecues.

See and experience one of the most beautiful holiday areas of Germany. There is something to offer for every taste and mood. Walking, trekking, cycling or just relaxing on a ship sailing down the Mosel river. Cochem and the Mosel river have so much to offer and there are so many sights to be seen. A rich wine culture, pure in idyllic nature, historic monumental structures, picturesque Views, and much to do and see for the active holiday seeker.
Areas surrounding Cochem you may want to visit are Burg Elz, the formula 1 track at Nürburgring, the breweries of Vulkan country and the German favorite brewery of "Bitburger". The oldest town in Germany, Trier is located just 40 minutes upriver and there you can see still standing Roman ruins such as Porta Nigra and the basillica which was built in the 300's. Down the river sits Koblenz, known as the "German Corner" as the Mosel and Rhein meet.
There are many other things to do but please don't miss the wine tasting in Cochem.

Villa Tummelchen is assessible via a 10 minute walk from the Bahnhof (train station). Villa Tummelchen can also pick you upon notice. The train can get you to almost any city in Europe and to the main airports such as Frankfurt Main, a short one and a half ride along the Rhein and Mosel Rivers. Hahn airport is a short one hour driving distance from Cochem and there is a shuttle service.
