WelcomHeritage's Grand Imperial Hotel offers guests plenty of local and national history. There are theme rooms, antiques and relics recounting traditional stories, folklore and the history of Agra.
The 100-year-old hotel was built with Lahori bricks, the same kind that was used to build the Taj Mahal. Originally known as the Imperial Hotel, it has played host to members of the English and Japanese royal families and celebrities of the Asian screen.
Agra is a medieval city which takes its name from Agrabana, or Passion. It was referenced in the Sanskrit epic, Mahabharata.

All three are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
