The surroundings offer an array of activities to suit all ages and tastes. These include 6 golf courses (access can be arranged through the concierge service), several lochs and rivers for angling, and Loch Earn, a short drive away, which has a host of water-sports. Also, Crieff itself offers a wealth of activities, including the Crieff Visitor Centre, local crafts such as glass and pottery decoration and the Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret, Scotland's oldest distillery. The town is also just an hour's drive from Scotland's major cities.
