The St Lucia Leopard Lodge is set in an area abundant in wildlife and sheer scenic beauty. Previously known as The Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park, the area offers wonderful walking trails, beaches, game reserves, deep-sea diving and tours to see hippos, crocodiles, turtles and whales. Providing complete comfort, privacy and relaxation, Leopard Lodge is suitable for a range of guests. The entire home is wheelchair friendly with ramp access to all areas, wide doorway access, bathrooms with fitted handrails and all rooms set on the ground floor. |

Other information
There are wonderful forests, estuarine and beach walks within easy access. One block away you will find the KZN forests with their wonderful walking trails. The estuary and all the beaches of St Lucia are only 1 – 2 km away. Other activities include: birding (on the doorstep); game viewing (The Cape Vidal Nature and Marine Reserve (2 km) and The Umfolozi Hluhluwe Game Reserve 50 km away); boat cruises to view hippos and crocodiles (3 km); fly, surf and deep-sea fishing (3 km); cultural villages and Zulu dancing (3 km); golf at Monzi (11 km); and seasonal whale watching and turtle tours (3 km).
By Car: - As you cross over the bridge entering St Lucia, you'll see a roundabout in front of you; turn immediately left into McKenzie Street. - Take the first right into Beach Road. - Take the second right into Kingfisher Street. - Take the third left into Grunter Avenue. - The lodge is on the corner of Kingfisher and Grunter.
All pets are very welcome. Please ensure their vaccinations are up to date (including rabies), that they are free from fleas and ticks and please bring their own bedding and feeding dishes. There are no resident pets on the property but due consideration should be given to the local wildlife in and around the property.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 28 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is not applicable. Service charge is included. 1.00 % city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. Internet: No internet access available. Meal Plan: This hotel has no meal services. Parking: Free private parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are allowed. No extra charges. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. |
