Pier Luigi Cavicchi and his wife Donatella (who runs the family's nearby farm) inherited a turn-of-the-century villa, located right in the heart of town. Pier Luigi (who had spent many happy summers at the villa) and his wife thoroughly renovated the property and opened it as an inn in 1999. Photos:
The sleepy village of Solomeo, located between Perugia and Lake Trasimeno, had been almost completely abandoned until a well-known cashmere company bought and restored most of the town to its original charm. Photos:
To reach the hotel, exit from the E45 motorway at Corciano, and follow directions for Solomeo. The hotel is located in the main square opposite to the curch.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
