The German Hiking Association has officially classified the Berghotel Friedrichshöhe as a hiking hotel. The hotel’s services include guided tours, special hiking weeks, tour advice, deliveries to and from destinations, luggage transport and lunch packs. Photos:
Start your day with a generous buffet breakfast in the friendly breakfast room. In the evening, enjoy a glass of Saxonian wine near the chimney in the hotel foyer or in the hotel bar. The hotel restaurant serves traditional Saxonian cuisine and a wide range of international delights. It can seat up to 36 guests.
A well-kept tennis court is situated only about 200 metres from the hotel. Children can enjoy the neighbouring forest playground. The region boasts an extensive network of clearly signed hiking trails and bicycle routes. In winter, you can discover a wide range of ski runs in the surroundings of Oberbärenburg and further afield. Ski lifts are available in Oberbärenburg, Altenberg, Geising and Rehefeld. The Ore Mountains and their foreland, Dresden and Saxonian Switzerland boast beautiful landscapes, historic sites, famous attractions, museums and cultural highlights.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 13.50 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged EUR 23.50 per night for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free private parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.
