Set within a detached Victorian villa, dating back to 1875, this charming guesthouse is nestled amid attractive gardens in a peaceful residential area of Edinburgh’s historic city centre.

Just 1.5 miles from the train station and 100 metres from the bus stop, Ard-Na-Said boasts excellent transport links into the heart of Edinburgh. The city houses many famous attractions, including Edinburgh Castle and Prince’s Street.

Ard-Na-Said itself is within walking distance of golf courses, a swimming pool, local shops, university halls and Holy-Rood Park, which boasts breathtaking views across the surroundings.

The Wallace Room:
Originally the upstairs drawing room, this very spacious (35 square-metres) room has a large bay window to the front and a single large window to the side. The original ornate plaster ceiling and high skirting boards have been carefully refurbished to retain the character of the room.

The bed is a four-poster super-king with pelmet above. All furnishings are of excellent quality and enhance the period style of the room. The décor and soft furnishings are individual to the Wallace Room.

Burns Room:
Facing the front of the house, the Burns Room is a very spacious twin room or a standard king-size room. The room and en suite have been completely renewed for 2008.
