Each room has a different furnishing and partly features a small writing desk and a sitting area. All rooms are very clean and have satellite TV, shower and toilet.
Look forward to the hotel's cosy restaurant after an active day of sightseeing. Spoil yourself with fresh regional and international delicacies in the cheerful Franconian ambience. Make sure to try Bavarian and Franconian favourites such as “Schweinshaxe” (pork knuckles) with "Knödel" (dumplings) and “Sauerkraut” (cabbage).
Our Hotel-Gasthof, which is located right in front of one of the most beautiful gates of Rothenburg, is accessible by car. The famous, historic market place of Rothenburg is only 5 minutes by walk from our guesthouse. Even the train station is easy to reach within a short time. Around Rothenburg many romantic hiking trails invite to explore the beautiful landscape. In the nearby Taubertal valley you will find a lot of picturesque towns like Detwang, Creglingen, Bad Mergentheim, Schwäbisch Hall. Würzburg and Nuremberg are only about 1 hour by car away from Rothenburg.
Guests arriving on Thursday must check in by 19:00, as the reception is closed after that time. The hotel is closed from 01 January until 20 February.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
