Nethermains Lodge
   In a peaceful yet convenient location, this 19th century farmhouse is close to the A78 and approximately 15 minutes from Prestwick Airport and 40 minutes from Glasgow International Airport. Local train stations and major road links to Glasgow, Troon, Kilmarnock, Ayr and Largs can be accessed easily. The beautiful harbour-side area is 5 minutes’ drive away and is adjacent to Irvine Beach Park, Magnum Leisure Centre and the popular Bridgegate shopping mall. There are 5 golf courses within easy reach of the Lodge: between 0.8 km and 40 km away. Transport to and from the courses is available. Nethermains Lodge is run informally and you can come and go as you please. Each room has en suite or private facilities. There is a guests' lounge, a dining room and a kitchen area. There is ample free private parking within the grounds, which is covered by CCTV. |

On your stay, your hosts will be the Cairney family, with the house being run by Margaret Cairney. The house has a maximum of 6 bedrooms each complete with en-suite or private facilities. The house offers great value for money and is in an ideal location for those exploring the beauty of West Scotland. We look forward to welcoming you to Nethermains Lodge and ensuring your stay in Scotland is an enjoyable and relaxing time. There is a guests' kitchen, complete with washing machine, as well as a guests' lounge with a digital TV/DVD. Nethermains Lodge has 6 rooms, including single, double, twin and triple rooms. All of the rooms have been recently redecorated and feature a beautiful, fresh modern decor. Each room has en suite bath/shower facilities or private bath/shower facilities. A trouser press is available on request. A full Scottish or a lighter continental breakfast is included in the price. There is also a buffet consisting of a variety of fruit juice, yoghurt, cereals and rolls. Evening snacks are available upon request at an additional cost. There are also refreshments available on request, which can be served in the garden (depending on the weather!) or in the sunroom, dining room or lounge. Photos:
Nethermains Lodge is 0.8 miles (1.25 km) from Irvine’s town centre. The nearest golf course is one mile (0.8 km) away. The lodge’s convenient location means it has good access to all of the region’s major roads to Glasgow, Troon, Kilmarnock, Ayr and Largs. The local train stations are about 5 and 10 minutes’ drive away. Irvine’s harbourside, the Beach Park, the Magnum Leisure Centre and the Bridgegate shopping centre are all within a 10-minute drive. The lodge is just 35 minutes’ drive from the spectacular scenery and stunning natural beauty of Burns' country.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free private parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are not allowed.
