Our special agreement with a local salon and day spa in Tavira allows guests the opportunity to enjoy the spa’s range of relaxing and therapeutic treatments at a discounted rate. The spa is ideal for those enjoying a restful, relaxing and restorative break or those seeking some luxurious pampering or a little well-earned indulgence. The spa offers massages, body treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures. Please feel free to ask at the reception regarding the special treatments and the special rates available for our guests.
During the spring and summer months, the Residencial has a boat that can take the guest to the "Desert Island" where you can enjoy it's quietness and tranquillity. During some days, weather and work permitting, there are some beach activities, windsurfing, tents, shades and spear fishing. We also help you organize day trips doing watersports, spear fishing, snorkelling or bird-watching. Almost everyday in the late afternoon, our guests can enjoy a drink on the roof terrace or even a barbecue of the fish caught during the day trip. All rooms are light, spacious, airy and have been decorated by an interior designer company. Each room has a full-sized bathroom and some have a desk and chairs, where the guests can just relax or work.

Situated in the centre of Tavira, the hotel is close to everything that the town has to offer. The property is just metres away from the River Gilão and all of the town’s supermarkets, restaurants, bars, cafes and bakeries. During the warmer months, you can catch a ferry or a water taxi to the sandbar island known as Ilha de Tavira. There you can enjoy the Ria Formosa National Park and the clean beaches with fantastic fine, warm sand. Alternatively, you could rent a bicycle and try out part of the Algarve Eco-Via route, which links Vila Real do St. Antonio, on the Spanish border, with Sagres, passing through some of the most fantastic coastline on the Algarve along the way. If that seems too energetic, then there are plenty of other activities and things to see and do nearby, including horse riding, sports like tennis and swimming in the town’s fantastic municipal swimming pools.

Tavira also has plenty to offer those interested in architecture, history and culture. The town is home to more than 35 churches. If you are driving, you can tour Tavira's Serra and see the area’s unspoilt little villages that seem to have frozen in time.

If you are looking for golf, the region boasts some of the best courses in Portugal, including Benmore, Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima, all of which are just a few minutes way. Monte Rei Golf & Country Club is a highly prestigious golf resort in the Eastern Algarve, which features 2 Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses. The resort is less than 15 minutes away from the hotel. Castro Marin golf course is situated near the Spanish border, and there are also new courses being built along the Guadiana River.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children from 3 to 11 years are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
