Boasting an altitude of 1,705 metres, the Hochalm mountain pasture is a popular hiking and day-trip destination. The pasture is idyllically embedded on the mountain slope, right in the heart of Upper Bavaria’s prettiest skiing and hiking region. The charming Goldene Landl region can be admired from the lofty heights of the pasture.

The Hammersbacher Hütte, a mountain chalet which can be rented or booked for private celebrations, and the Hochalm pasture also belong to the hotel. The Hammersbacher Hütte is an intimate, cosy restaurant directly next tot the hotel. It is an ideal setting for romantic dinners for two or traditional Bavarian evenings for 30-40 guests. Hearty Bavarian delicacies, flambeau lighting in winter, the full moon in winter and the marvellous Alpine scenery make evenings in this romantic restaurant truly unforgettable.
