Dinner is available on a Friday and Saturday evening. Vegetarian options are provided and other dietary requirements (such as gluten-free diets) can be catered for. Breakfast is a feast and ranges from a classic English breakfast to fresh fruit, yogurts, homemade muffins, smoothies, kippers, eggs Benedict and Arnold Bennet omelettes. The guest house is fully licensed and has a wide selection of fine wines and beers. Packed lunches and hampers are available.
There are a wide selection of restaurants and wine bars to choose from in the local area. There is plenty of information about local walks and restaurants. The train station is a 10-minute walk away but if you inform the guest house of your arrival time they will come and collect you.
By Car - Leave the M6 motorway at junction 36 and follow the signs for Kendal and Windermere (A590). - After about 30-35 minutes you will come to the sign for Windemere town centre. - Pass through the centre and at the end of the high street turn left into Broad Street. - Turn left at the T-junction and 1 Park Road is on the corner of Park Road. There is car parking for 3 (possibly 4) cars and there is unrestricted parking on Park Road.
The guest house does not accept stag or hen parties.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: 25 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
