The hotel was built in the 16th century and remodelled in the 17th and once belonged to the Dean of the Holy Chapel of the Saviour. The Parador of Ubeda is constructed in a Renaissance style and is housed in a 16th century palace.

Nine of the 36 available rooms offer views of Vázquez de Molina square. All the rooms have the high roofs and are equipped with all modern comforts.

The hotel restaurant boasts an imaginative, rural and Andalusian style cuisine. Favourites are the marinated partridge salad, the stewed goat with pine seed, bull's tail in red wine and spinach Jaén style.
