The attractive thatched conference centre, shaded by Milkwood trees, is the ideal venue for meetings, workshops and company get-togethers. During peak holiday season, this venue doubles as a television lounge and games room.

For the outdoor enthusiast, the area offers a wealth of activities, from recreational fishing, diving and water sports, through to bird watching. The best way to experience the ambience of the Wild Coast is by walking, and there are several designated hiking trails.

Nearby attractions include the famous rock formation at Hole-in-the-Wall and Umdumbi beach, rated by Getaway magazine as one of the best beaches in South Africa. There are coastal hiking trails to Hole-in-the-Wall. The Sacred Pools are also a big attraction and there are plenty of fishing spots within easy reach of the hotel.

You can do as much, or as little, as you like here. Adrenalin addicts will get their kicks abseiling down a sheer cliff face or enjoying a challenging guided quad bike excursion along tracks best suited to cattle and goats. If you prefer the pace a little more steady, guided 4 x 4 trips to places of local interest can also be arranged. Other popular leisure activities include fishing, diving and snorkelling.

When you have had your fill of beachcombing, swimming, surfing, and boogie boarding, the sparkling pool in the hotel gardens is a refreshing alternative.

The hotel is 19 km outside Mthatha, on the East London side.

By Car:
- Take the turn-off for Coffee Bay.
- Continue on this road for 78 km, until you enter Coffee Bay.
- Take the first road to the left. Once you have crossed the bridge, you will cross a smaller bridge, stay on this road until you reach the Ocean View Hotel on the right-hand side.
