Tyr Graig Castle

On the borders of Snowdonia National Park, this enchanting Victorian castle is beautifully set on a cliff-top between the mountains and the sea, boasting stunning views of Cardigan Bay.

Originally built in the late 1880's, Ty’r Graig still retains the elegance and style of the Victorian era, with stain glass windows, wood panelling, and highly decorated floors and ceilings, accompanied by the sound and smell of freshly felled timber burning in the hearths. Yet, the castle still offers all the comforts of the 21st century.

The perfect base for those wishing to explore the surrounding areas, Snowdon is only 20 miles north and Cader Idris just across the Mawddach estuary to the South. As well as many lesser known but equally beautiful hills in between, this area is second to none for those who wish to get off the beaten track and discover the rawness of the Welsh terrain.
