In the surrounding area you will find many possibilities of enjoying a relaxing or creative holiday, however you see fit.

You can visit a whole host of old castles and fortresses along the Rhine and Moselle valleys, and gain an insight into the rich history of this romantic section of the River Rhine. Ehrenbreitstein fortress is just a short walk away along the high riverbank pathway. Hikers will delight in the Nassau nature park, beautiful Lahntal valley and the Laach lake, with the world-famous Maria Laach monastery nearby.

There are various spa and leisure pools, including the solar-heated steel pool in the neighbouring town of Vallendar, where you can go swimming to your heart’s delight.

There are many other day-trip destinations worth recommending. Our particular tip is the city of Koblenz, just 4 km away, with its appealing old quarter and interesting visitor attractions. You can also take a trip on one of the popular white boats belonging to the world famous Cologne-Düsseldorf shipping company, as far as Rüdesheim. Admire the many world-heritage gems, including the Loreley mermaid.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
