The hotel was newly opened in 2008 and offers 20 comfortable, rustic-style rooms. A cosy breakfast lounge, foyer and reception area were added to the hotel.

The hotel has 3 single rooms and 16 double rooms, which can also be taken on single occupancy. The rooms offer all listed features as well as a cosmetic mirror.

We offer a snug ambience in the Bauernstüberl (farmer’s lounge), Jägerstüberl (hunter’s lounge) or Wildererstüberl (poacher’s lounge), as well as in the Schankstube bar. Try some unique delicacies and fresh specialities from our in-house butcher’s, or treat yourself to some home-made cakes and pastries in the afternoon.

You also have the opportunity to purchase some foodstuffs during the opening times of our restaurant. We only sell our own home-made specialities, either meats prepared by Sepp our landlord, or cakes and pasties made by Inge our landlady.

The convenient location of the hotel just 20 km south of Munich, makes it an ideal base for your business appointments as well as leisure pursuits. The hotel is idyllically situated in the foothills of the Alps and has marvellous motorway connections to Garmisch or Salzburg, both of which are just a 15-minute drive away.

Lake Starnberg is also only a 20-minute drive away, as are the Bavaria film studios, the Alpamare swimming pool or the summer toboggan run on the Blomberg mountain.

A rich breakfast buffet is included in the rate. The restaurant is open from Thursday until Sunday and offers hot food from 11:30 until 21:00.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 32.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets: Pets are not allowed.
