Situated on the outskirts of the charming market town of Chorley, this former coaching inn is just minutes away from the M61, enabling easy access to Preston, Manchester and North Lancashire.

Just an hour away from the beautiful Lake District, Chorley has its own themed amusement park, where you can seek thrills on rollercoasters and even be entertained with jousting tournaments. The town is also home to the largest Mormon temple in the UK, which attracts a number of overseas visitors.

In addition to 10 comfortable en suite rooms, Hartwood Hall is also a restaurant and bar. To ensure a peaceful night’s sleep, the rooms are situated in a separate lodge.

Situated on the A6 heading into Chorley, and close to the M61, the hotel offers an ideal stopping-off point for Blackpool if you’re looking to take in tourist sites such as the Lights or the Pleasure Beach.

For those looking further afield, Chorley is close to a number of motorway networks with links to Preston, Bolton and the Trafford Centre Shopping mall.

Chorley’s main market day is Tuesday, with a wide variety on offer.

By Car:
- Take the M61.
- Exit at junction 8, signposted Chorley.
- At the slip road, follow signs for Chorley (A6).
- Approach the next roundabout where The Hartwood will be visible.
- Turn left at the roundabout to another roundabout.
- Loop around this roundabout and take the immediate left into the car park.

Or:
- Take the M6.
- Exit at Junction 29a.
- Join the M65.
- Take next exit following signs for, and joining the M61.
- Exit at junction 8.
- Then, as above.

The Hartwood is approximately 2 miles from Chorley train station which is served by Bolton, Manchester and Preston rail links.
