You are no doubt already familiar with the 3 resorts of Bansin, Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck, as well as the Baltic Sea, but what about the surrounding area? Neu-Sallenthin is a part of Bansin, and is surrounded by the Großer Krebssee and Kleiner Krebssee lakes. Geographically speaking, the area lies between the largest 2 lakes on the island of Usedom, namely the Gothensee to the north and east, and the Schmollensee to the west. The countryside in between contains many impressive features. Discover the Usedomer Schweiz (Usedom’s Switzerland) with its 2 main lakes and slopes such as the Viktoriahöhe with its 55-metre high beech-tree lined hills and deep basins. Some hills offer a fine panoramic view over the surrounding countryside. The Sieben-Seen-Berg is right behind the apartments and allows a view of the 6 surrounding lakes and the Baltic Sea.

You can take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage to the Forsthaus Fangel, a forest café which serves delicious home-baked cakes. You can go fishing on the Großer Krebssee lake, as well as hiring a fishing rod, angler’s licence, and a rowing or pedal boat. Keen hikers can enjoy extensive walks in the forest, a visit the Medieval village of Sellin with its listed buildings. Enjoy the calm of the adjoining hinterland all year round, and escape from the noise and pollution of the city, whilst relaxing close to nature in these peaceful apartments.

Take the A20 motorway and exit at Anklam. Take the Usedom direction as far as Mellenthin, turn left towards Wolgast, exit at Neppermin and turn right at the bridge twards Benz and Bansin. Drive through Alt-Sallenthin, until you reach the Hotel Bergmühle. 100 metres beyond the hotel, turn left into Bergmühlenweg, and stay in the right-hand lane until you reach the centre.
