The Villa Cristal Apartments are located in a complex with 2 swimming pools, one of which is for children and are open during the summer months. The resort office in Mar de Cristal also has internet access and can provide you with all the tourist information you might need.

There is a wealth of bars and restaurants located near the resort at Playa Honda. Fish and shellfish dishes are abundant here, all the produce locally fished. Other popular dishes to try here include the salted tuna and its roe, produced following techniques from the Roman era. Cierva pie of San Javiera with its characteristic salt-sweet flavour is also an absolute must.

The resort boasts a truly unique and privileged location on the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor a giant lagoon separated from the Mediterranean sea by a 21 km strip of land and is considered to be the World's largest swimming pool, due to its calm and warm waters and temperatures that are never lower than 18 degrees.

The Mar Menor is an excellent destination for the practise of watersports. It is a sailing paradise, but you can also try out scuba diving, windsurfing, kayaking and kite surfing here.

La Manga can be reached from 2 airports: the nearest is Murcia (San Javier) and is just a 25-minute transfer to the resort. Alicante is approximately 95 minutes' drive from the hotel.

Please note that check-in does not take place at the resort. Once the reservation has been made, Resort La Manga SL will send guests directions and details of the key collection procedure. A valid credit card and photo ID are required at check-in.

In order to guarantee the reservation, the hotel will charge a deposit to the credit card provided during the booking process.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 4.00 per night and person for cots.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: 20 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
