Ideally situated on the main seafront, the Westminster Hotel is Rhyl's only large hotel. All of the hotel’s very spacious rooms are en suite, with colour TVs, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and ironing boards. An iron is available on request from reception. A variety of room sizes is available, with everything from single rooms through to family rooms for up to 4 people, which can also take extra beds and cots in addition.

Group bookings are welcome.

The hotel has an entrance ramp and a passenger lift.

There is a fully licensed bar, which is open daily until 02:00 for residents. The hotel hosts regular cabaret entertainment in season.

Please note that the hotel does have a very small car park, but is unable to reserve or guarantee any spaces. A pay and display public car park is situated immediately behind the hotel and several nearby streets offer free parking. Free car parking is available from October to just before Easter in the seafront car park on East Parade.

All of the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with all the facilities you need in a restful, relaxing base.

Rooms with walk-in showers and grab rails are available on request. Rooms near the lift, adjacent rooms and smoking rooms are also available on request. All rooms, including single rooms, have enough space to accommodate cots, and all of the family rooms for 4 people can also accommodate an extra bed, in addition to the beds that are included in the room as standard.

Rooms with sea views are subject to availability and are allocated in order of booking, on a first come, first served basis. Reservations for longer stays and repeat guests are allocated rooms with sea views whenever possible.

Reservations for stays of 5 nights or more automatically qualify for free upgrades to larger rooms, rooms with sea views or premier rooms wherever possible. Upgrades are subject to availability.

Breakfasts and evening meals can be booked on arrival if required.

A full cooked Welsh breakfast is served from 08:00 to 09:00, Monday to Friday, and from 08:00 to 09:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. Earlier breakfasts are available only by prior arrangement. Breakfasts for children are available at discounted prices and breakfasts for children under 2 years of age are free of charge. As a special offer, those staying for 3 nights or more are entitled to a 50% discount on the cost of breakfast.

Breakfast is a full-service affair, with a team of waiters and waitresses serving breakfast from the dining hall’s open-plan breakfast service area. Breakfast includes unlimited tea or coffee, fruit juice, a selection of cereals, grapefruit, a cooked breakfast of your choice, toast with marmalade and jam. Flora margarine, skimmed milk, honey, brown bread/toast and kippers are all available on request.

Evening meals can be booked on arrival most days, except during the period from January to March. Evening meals are not included in the room rate and are only available at an additional cost. Children under 2 years of age can eat free of charge. The 3-course evening menu offers a limited choice traditional home-cooked dishes, made with local produce. Tea/coffee is included in the price and evening meals are available between 18:30 and 19:30 only. Evening meals are served, piping-hot, to your table by the hotel’s team of waiters and waitresses.

The hotel is located right next to Rhyl's town centre, which offers an extensive selection of restaurants/cafes for those wishing to dine out. The staff at reception will be happy to recommend local establishments to guests.

Rhyl is a great base for those wishing to tour North Wales, Cheshire & Liverpool. Prestatyn is just 5 minutes’ drive away, Colwyn Bay is just 15 minutes’ drive away and Liverpool is just an hour away by car.

Rhyl itself is an attractive seaside resort with plenty to see and do in the town. The area surrounding the hotel is very flat and disabled friendly.

Rhyl is easily accessible by road or rail.

By Train:
All mainline trains stop at Rhyl and the town’s railway station is just 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel.

By Coach:
Rhyl’s main North Wales National Express drop off and collection point is immediately opposite the hotel.

Payment Information:
All bookings must be paid for, on arrival, by credit/debit card or in cash (in EUR or GBP). Cheques can only be accepted in advance and must be fully cleared before arrival. The hotel is unable to charge extras to bedrooms. Any extras, such as meals or bar drinks, must be paid for at the time of ordering.

Company payments, made on a credit card not held by the guest, can be accepted if a letter with full details, on company headed paper, is faxed or posted to the hotel, in advance of the arrival.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per stay for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 5.00 per stay for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
