Vulcan Hotel
   Located 10 to 12 minutes walk from the heart of Darling Harbour, Sydney Convention Centre and Cockle Bay restaurants, the hotel is a quick monorail trip to the city centre. Recently awarded the prestigious award for Best Accommodation Hotel in Sydney at The Sydney Business awards 2008; the Vulcan Hotel is where contemporary style meets heritage architecture. Our boutique property consists of 46 brand new en suite rooms with all the services you would expect. All rooms have double-glazed, soundproofed windows. In mid 2006, a new wing was built and this added an extra 16 rooms, a brand new cafe, reception and courtyard. A lift was built into the new wing for convenient access to the upper floors. While staying at our hotel, take advantage of our central location and be sure to visit Sydney's iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. We can organise tours for you on arrival and most tours will pick up from the hotel or nearby hotels. |

From the city or Darling Harbour, our hotel is not hard to find, if you remember to take into account the one-way system. You can only approach the hotel end of Mary Ann Street from Wattle Street. If you find yourself on Harris Street, turn into Thomas Street and then right into Wattle Street.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged AUD 30.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs AUD 10.00 per 24 hours. Meal Plan: Breakfast is not included and costs AUD 15.00 per person. Parking: Private parking is possible at a location nearby and costs AUD 18.00 per day. Pets: Pets are not allowed.
