Each of the 2 double rooms has an en suite bathroom and an LCD flat-screen TV with Freeview digital channels.

The family room also has an en suite bathroom and a TV with Freeview digital channels. This room also has a DVD player with a selection of DVDs to watch, free of charge. The family room is situated on the ground floor.

There is also one twin room and one single room. Each of these rooms has a TV with Freeview digital channels and a vanity unit. The 2 rooms share a bathroom.

Food is served in the lovely, airy dining room at individual tables.

Choose from a wide range of cereals and/or a hearty full English breakfast, cooked freshly to order. The full traditional cooked breakfast features free-range eggs and locally sourced bacon and sausages.

Lighter options are also available for those with a smaller appetite.

There is also freshly baked toast and a range of jams and preserves available.

To complement your choice of breakfast, you can have tea or coffee and fruit juices.

Breakfast is served from 08:15 until 09:00.

Earlier breakfasts (from 07:00) can happily be accommodated.

Elmsdale Guesthouse is conveniently located for both business and leisure travellelrs. The Riviera International Centre is only a short walk away.

Torquay is situated in the heart of South Devon, in the area known as the English Riviera, which offers something for everyone. Torquay's waterfront is the place to be, enjoying a meal or a drink at one of the lovely harbour-side cafes and bars, or perhaps an ice cream looking out to sea over the beautiful international marina. The town also boasts a palm-lined promenade, the seafront gardens and the Princess Theatre with a great variety of shows.

At night, when the sun goes down, the bay transforms into a wonderland of coloured lights. Torquay has everything, from nightclubs to cosy intimate restaurants. The area also offers a wealth of other night-time entertainments and activities, including a 9-screen multiplex cinema, 10-pin bowling and even a casino. If all that sounds a little too energetic, you can always just enjoy a gentle stroll by the water.

By Coach:
The guest house is only about 10 minutes’ walk from the coach station.

Please note we do not accept american express or diner cards. Also if your paying by credit card there is a 2.5 % charge incurred.

Please be advised that we do not provide cots for extra children, these must be provided by you. Additionally, babies can only be accomodated for in the family room.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.

Deposit Policy: 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.
