All of the hotel’s 28 bright, comfortable rooms are well equipped, with all the modern comforts and facilities you need in a restful, relaxing base. Each room has a queen-size bed and a flat-screen TV.

The hotel enjoys an excellent reputation for serving delicious traditional food made using locally sourced produce.

The hotel has a formal restaurant offering an impressive à la carte menu. In November 2007, the restaurant was the recipient of an AA Rosette for the outstanding preparation of its food and the good quality of the ingredients it uses.

The hotel bar is well known for its selection of real ales from the surrounding region and for its range of malt whiskies. Traditional pub food is available in the bar.

On the first Sunday of every month, the hotel offers Sunday lunch with live musical accompaniment from a traditional jazz band.

The hotel can also accommodate functions and wedding for up to 100 guests.

The hotel is situated amidst the stunning scenery of the Dartmoor National Park. The impressive location makes the hotel a great base for walkers, golfers and anglers. There is plenty to see and do in the area immediately surrounding the hotel, including horse riding, rambling and mountain biking.

The hotel also has a great location for exploring Devon and all of its attractions and beautiful countryside. Both coastlines are just over an hour away and the 2 main cities in the area are also well within easy reach, with Exeter just 20 minutes’ drive away and Plymouth just 40 minutes’ drive away.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Private parking is possible at a location nearby and costs GBP 2.00 per day.
