This privately owned and run, characterful, small hotel in the heart of New Galloway is positioned at the top of Loch Ken and on the edge of Galloway Forest Park. New Galloway has its own 9-hole golf course with spectacular views - which hotel guests can use, as well as another 30 courses all within a one hour drive. Rangers can be arranged for shooting, stalking, fishing and birdwatching. Vintage car hire and horse and trap tours can be organised by the hotel. The hotel is within an area ideal for photography, drawing and painting. A full range of watersports is available on Lock Ken between March/October. Cyclists and mountain bikers have full use of a secure storage area.

By Car - There is easy access to the hotel from the A75 (the Euroroute through to Stranraer and Northern Ireland). By Air The hotel is one hour’s drive from Prestwich Airport.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
