   In a quiet location, just outside Bishops Stortford town centre, this comfortable, modern accommodation is within walking distance of the train station, shops, leisure centre, river, and the town's nightlife.The charming family-run Jolly Brewers Freehouse Inn offers comfortable, modern accommodation in a separate building adjoining the pub. Built in 2007 to a very high modern standard, the accommodation consists of twin/double rooms with en suite toilets washbasins and showers, or with an en suite bathroom. Each room has a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and internet access. The accommodation is within a 10-minute drive of London Stansted Airport, but is far enough away to be untroubled by the airport’s flight path. Guests can park their cars immediately outside their room and come and go as they please. Special arrangements can be made on request, enabling guests to leave their cars while they travel but are not resident. |

Guests can leave their cars at the Jolly Brewers Travel Lodge for a period longer than their stay. This service is available on request and by arrangement. Guests wishing to take advantage of this service should contact the hotel directly in order to arrange parking.
Rooms are of a modern design with bedside cabinets, a wardrobe, drawer units, and a desk. Rooms have twin beds or double beds. En suite bathrooms feature a shower, WC and washbasin; or a bath with shower, WC and washbasin. One room is designed to accommodate a wheelchair user. Photos:
The hotel does not serve breakfast, but a local cafe is a 2 minute walk away. The Jolly Brewers' home made meals are available at lunch time and early evening. Sandwiches, snacks, tea and coffee are available all day. Takeaway food is available on request. The Jolly Brewers is renowned for the quality and range of its beers, especially real ales, and has a good selection of wine.
Cambridge and London are both 40 minutes’ drive away on the M11, and can be reached by train. Stansted Airport is 10 minutes away by car or train. Both the A120 and A10 are close by. In town you can find a wide range of restaurants, while the leisure centre and Rhodes Museum and Arts complex are close by.
Please note your payment, less the £10 cancellation fee, will be refunded to you if you give 3 or more days notice of cancellation.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 10.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: The total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.
