The owners knew how to preserve the wall and ceiling paintings, the “Kachelöfen” (tiled stoves) and the lovely garden next to the prior’s house.

The hotel received a special award from the ICOMOS (International Council for Monuments and Sites) in 2009 for its historic architecture.

In winter, the cross-country ski runs in the famous “Vallée de Joux” are only 15 minutes away.

The train station Croy-Romainmôtier is 1 km away. Busses are stopping in front of the house.

With the French TGV, change in Vallorbe to a regional train.
