Murten is a medieval town surrounded by historic walls. In the 15th century, the old town was the setting of one of the most well-known battles in Swiss history. In summer, the lake area and the Vully (hill of vineyards across the lake) are wonderful hiking areas. Thanks to Murten's central location, there are plenty of cities (Fribourg, Avenches, Bern, Biel, Neuchâtel) in the surrounding area to visit. Parking is strictly limited in the old town. A public car park (City Parking) is just 1 min on foot from the hotel (entrance Altstadt West). We sell tickets for this car park. You will receive further information at the reception.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children from 6 to 11 years are charged CHF 40.00 per night and person for extra beds. All children from 12 to 16 years are charged CHF 60.00 per night and person for extra beds.
