Camping Jungfrau was founded over 50 years ago by the Von Allmen family. The erstwhile farmyard was converted into a popular and modern camping site. Camping Jungfrau has meanwhile become a leading tourism enterprise in the Swiss Alps, and is still being run as a family business. It is being managed even today by family members of the second and even third generation, and is offering a large selection of accommodation besides camping sites.

All our accommodation types are located on the area of Camping Jungfrau. This allows you to use all the facilities of our Holiday Park. You stay next to the impressive Staubbach waterfall, surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama.

There is an extensive and rich offer of articles at your disposal in our shop and kiosk, which is open daily. We supply a large range of food and drinks, such as freshly baked bread, fresh milk, cheese and vegetables, at all times. Toiletries and camping gas are also available in our range of articles. Our kiosk offers daily papers, magazines, postcards, sunglasses, pocket knives, clothes and much more.

Our restaurant „Weidstübli” was built in 1987 in a typically Swiss chalet style. It is a very popular snack restaurant and a meeting point for guests at the centre of our facility. We attach much importance to an attractive and affordable offer.

In addition to Swiss specialties like „Rösti“ in different variations or traditional cheese fondue, our wide-ranging menu also contains different types of snacks and freshly baked pizzas on a daily basis. You are also welcome just for a drink at the Snack Bar.

„Take-away”: snacks, French fries, fried chicken and pizzas.

Camping Jungfrau is located at the feet of the world-famous mountain giants Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau in the Valley of the 72 Waterfalls. Even Johann Wolfgang von Goethe referred to the beauty of our valley in one of his poems. Our position at the edge of the village of Lauterbrunnen, right below the Staubbach waterfall, is the ideal starting point for walking tours and trips into the popular Jungfrau region and the entire Bernese Oberland. The excellent network of mountain railways brings you to many attractions and, in winter, leads straight into the ski regions of Wengen-Männlichen-Lauberhorn and Mürren-Schilthorn.

Our location close to the valley station of the Jungfrau Top ski area lets you enjoy over 200 kilometres of ski slopes. Our free ski shuttle brings you to the valley station at Lauterbrunnen and picks you up again from there.

By car:

Follow the road signs to Lauterbrunnen from Interlaken. The road leads to Lauterbrunnen via Wilderswil and Zweilütschinen along the river Lütschine. Once in Lauterbrunnen, drive along the main road through the village. Shortly before the church, follow the road sign leading to Camping Jungfrau, and turn right. Seen from your position, Camping Jungfrau is on the right-hand side of the valley, directly under the big Staubbach waterfall.

By train:

Take the train from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen. From Lauterbrunnen station you will reach us in a 15-minute walk. We are located next to the big Staubbach waterfall, which you will see from the train station. Just follow the Camping Jungfrau signs. If you carry heavy luggage, you can phone us for a pick-up.

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
