The San Giorgio Hotel is set in the town,which goes by the same name in the Province of Matera,directy inland from the jonian coast

San Giorgio Lucano is located between Basilicata and Calabria in the south of Italy. San Giorgio is set in the National Park of Pollino where you can birdwatch and admire the Mediterranean landscape.

Near San Giorgio there are some caves, where farmers preserve wine and fruits. A sanctuary of the 16th century is located in front of the historical centre with a church of 17th century.
