Completely rebuilt and enlarged, Portobello Ondina Praia has new design at its social areas and in all rooms. The hotel emphasizes its social responsibility being a member of ETHOS Institute. Here, only recycled paper is used for printed documents and business cards and a selective collection of garbage has already been implemented in the building. It also offers specific services such as city tour and car rental desks, transfer to the airport or even delivery of tickets for concerts and theatre plays. Photos:
The restaurant of the hotel, Terra Mater Restaurant, serves international and typical food for lunch and dinner (meat, chicken and sea food). As for the drinks, guests can order soft drinks, cocktails, juices, whiskies, wines, champagne and others. Photos:
Ondina beach lies a few meters from the entrance of the hotel. Shopping Barra is 1km distant, the Historical Centre is 7 km and the airport, 30 km far away. There is a taxi stop just beside the hotel. During Carnival, it is possible to watch famous musicians running their "trios elétricos" from the hotel, avoiding the crowd on the street.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged BRL 35.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
