A holiday in the Austrian Alps at the Hotel Tauernhof in is pure relaxation, thanks in large part to the hotel's pool and sauna area. In 2004, a new second indoor pool was built. Both the indoor swimming pools, with their respective pool dimensions of 65 m² and 80 m², offer our guests plenty of room for fun in the water. You can also swim into the outdoor pool or enjoy the tingly joys offered by the whirlpool bathtub.

The sauna complex includes a Finnish sauna, a bio-herbal sauna, a steam room-inhalation grotto, a tropical relaxation grotto, warm relaxation loungers, massage jets/showers and a solarium, providing relaxing and relaxed hours during your holiday. After an adventurous day on the slopes or after a mountain hike, the wellness area will regenerate your body.

With the Tauernhof luxury board, you can choose from a wide range of culinary creations for almost the whole day during your holiday.

For lunch, a wide range of mountain pasture taverns, skiing huts and restaurants is available in Grossarl. After the day’s activities in the Grossarl Valley, the “Vitaljause” (vital teatime snack) is waiting for you between 15:00 and 16:30 every day at the hotel. Let yourself be surprised by the sometimes savoury fare with bacon, ham and cheese specialties and pampered by the sometimes sweet fare with homemade cakes and pastries.

In the evening you can choose from the gourmet menu between Austrian specialties and lighter international cuisine. The salad buffet with fresh and healthy salad variations is available to guests daily. Help yourself to the cheese buffet, also available daily. The barbecue or farmers buffet invites you once a week to taste its fare (in summer only) as well as the dessert buffet for those with a sweet tooth, also once a week.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children from 2 to 5 years are charged 35 % of the room stay per night when using existing bedding.
One child from 6 to 16 years is charged 60 % of the room stay per night when using existing bedding.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
