With uninterrupted views of the majestic Outeniqua Mountains, our suites and Cradock room open onto a veranda and sparkling pool where guests can relax, soak up the sun and drink in the scenery. Start the morning with a hearty English or continental breakfast, before setting off for a day’s exploration of the many attractions in the capital of the Garden Route and its surroundings.
Just a few minutes’ drive from the city centre with its excellent shops and restaurants, our residence is an ideal base for excursions to the nearby beaches, mountain passes and historic towns that have made this part of the Cape so popular with South African and overseas visitors alike.

In addition to spectacular scenery, George and the surrounding area offers something for everyone. For those who enjoy the great outdoors, there are excellent facilities for cycling, hiking, horse riding, canoeing, sailing and fishing. The very adventurous may even like to try their hand at paragliding, surfing or quad biking. Nature lovers will enjoy bird watching almost anywhere in the area, and the Garden Route Botanical Garden in George and nearby game reserves offer visitors the chance to learn about South Africa’s amazing variety of flora and fauna.

From Cape Town:
- Approximately 15 minutes after passing Mossel Bay on the N2, take exit number 425 onto the R404 for the airport and George.
- At the airport crossroads, head straight on staying on the R404; ignore the sign saying right turn for George at the crossroads.
- After another 10 minutes, you will pass Fancourt Golf Estate on your right.
- Soon after, bear right leaving Oudtshoorn Road for George following the signs.
- At the next T-junction with the Engen garage in front of you, turn right.
- Take the 3rd left into Myrtle Road.
- At the next T junction, turn left into Plantation Rd.
- The guest house is 200 metres away on the left at number 49.

| From Port Elizabeth/Knysna |
- Leave the N2 and follow the road into George, passing the Garden Route Mall on the left.
- The main approach road becomes Courtenay St. and ends with a roundabout.
- Go straight across for 500 metres until you reach the crossroads, then turn right into Arbour Road.
- Drive a further 500 metres to the next crossroads, then turn left into Plantation Road.
- The guest house is at number 49, the last on the left.

| From Oudtshoorn/Uniondale |
- Take the N12/N9 through Outeniqua pass into George.
- At the 1st traffic lights, go straight on with the Engen Garage on the left.
- After the traffic lights, take the 3rd left into Myrtle Road.
- Then follow the instructions above. |
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 21 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: 14 % VAT is not included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is included.
Internet: Internet via modem is available in public areas and is free of charge.
Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
Parking: Free private parking is possible on site.
Pets: Pets are not allowed.
The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
