Base Backpackers - Auckland

Base Auckland is an award-winning hostel in the heart of the city, only a 5-minute walk from the iconic Sky Tower and the CBD.

The hostel offers either private guest rooms, some with en suite facilities or dormitory-style accommodation. All of the rooms are clean, comfortable and represent great value for money.

There are 2 cafés at Base Auckland which offer a great selection of food throughout the day. All-day breakfasts are available, as are daily specials and various snacks; there are even barbeques on the garden deck. There is also a lively basement bar, great for socialising.

Additional facilities at Base include clean kitchens and dining areas, a chill-out lounge and 2 TV lounges. The reception is open 24-hours a day and the friendly staff are happy to help with tours, sight-seeing and airport transfers.
