The magic of St Mary’s is in its unique combination of buildings which still retain their Old World charm. Situated in 150 acres of parkland and nestled in the Vale of Glamorgan, the clubhouse was originally a stone coach house. The16th century farmhouse with its thick stonewalls and beamed ceilings blends into a sophisticated extension and beautiful courtyard.

The 24-bedroom luxury hotel has modern furnishings and fittings. There are 2 dining areas: La Casa de Ferranti that overlooks the golf course and Rafters Restaurant; its name originating from the oak rafters that can be seen throughout the restaurant. There are two bars, a ‘spike’ bar and a lounge bar.

In addition we have a conference centre, an 18-hole championship golf course, a 12-hole Kingfisher golf course, a 15-bay floodlit driving range, chipping and putting greens, changing rooms and a golf shop. St Mary’s Hotel provides a relaxed and informal atmosphere, an ideal surrounding for business or a relaxing break.

We have 24 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, luxury fittings and furnishings of the highest standards. In the oldest part of the country house you will find 9 of our luxuriously appointed rooms, in which we have retained many of the original stone walls and fireplaces dating back to the 16th century.

Most of our rooms have views of our challenging championship golf courses or courtyard. One of the spacious executive suites has a four-poster bed, oak flooring, panoramic views and is set high in the rafters of the old house.

Each bedroom has a whirlpool bath and power shower, luxurious bathroom amenities and many other facilities. Please see individual room details for a complete list of facilities on offer.

Food & beverageTop
Our La Casa de Ferranti restaurant offers a first class, extensive à la carte menu with a choice of traditional Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. La Casa de Ferranti was born out of the passion for authentic Mediterranean cooking and willingness to create and replicate native cuisine, keeping the dishes true to their origins. Ingredients are sourced with care, often directly from the Mediterranean. The menu changes seasonally, to take advantage of the best that is available.

La Casa de Ferranti is the perfect place to relax and unwind, with sensational panoramic views of our 18-hole golf course
