The Picasso Hotel sits within the Guadalmar Beach residential development, beside the protected natural environment at the mouth of the Guadalhorce and 5 km from Málaga´s city centre.

The surrounding area is a haven for numerous species of endangered migrating birds, and this special environment gives the hotel a tranquil, rural feel, in spite of its location at the heart of the Costa del Sol. If you take the short walk to the beach you will find many open-air ´chiringuito´ bars serving local fish specialities, and further on you will reach one of the area´s last unspoiled beaches.

In addition to the facilities already mentioned, all rooms enjoy direct access to the hotel´s garden.

You can enjoy the breakfast buffet in the restaurant or on the terrace in front of the swimming pool from 08:00 to 10:30 every day. Dinner is served from 20:00 to 22:30, but it is not available on Sundays.

There are other restaurants nearby within easy walking distance, such as 2 beachside Chiringuitos which serve fish, an Argentinean meat restaurant, a traditional restaurant and an Italian restaurant.

Buses and trains give quick and easy access to the Costa del Sol and the centre of Malaga, where you can visit the impressive cathedral, the Moorish Gibralfaro castle, the Alcazaba and the Roman theatre, the Picasso Museum and birthplace, and a host of interesting churches and buildings. For an authentic Spanish experience, take a tour of Malaga's numerous tapas bars. From the city’s bus station you can easily visit the enchanting cities and sunny resorts found throughout Andalusia.

From the airport (2.5km), follow signs to Malaga. At the first bend (Coca-Cola) turn left towards San Julián and follow signs to Guadalmar. Go under the motorway (A-7|E-15). The hotel is signed from the Guadalmar roundabout.

From the A-7|E-15 motorway (Antequera-Malaga-Marbella-Algeciras): turn off at kilometre 232, signed 'San Julián-Guadalmar' (Leroy Merlin).

From the N-340|Velasquez Avenue (at 2km): To take airport direction, and fallows San Julian and Guadalmar direction.

From the old centre or the train station (5km), take the bus no. 10 towards Churiana and get off at Guadalmar. By car, follow signs to Marbella (A-7|E-15) or Aeropuerto (N-340|Velasquez Avenue).

Unfortunately the hotel does not have any rooms suitable for disabled guests.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
