   Located 100 metres from Porta al Prato, one of the ancient gates to the formerly walled old town of Florence, the residence is just a 10 minute walk away from the historic centre.Having developed mainly in the 19th and early 20th-centuries, the district is located on the very border of the historic city centre, within easy reach of its famous squares, museums, churches and bridges over Arno River. The immediate surroundings encompass Parco delle Cascine, the largest public garden of Florence, the convention centre of Fortezza Da Basso, typical shops and a number of businesses. |

Residence Porta al Prato was one of the first apartment-hotels built in Florence in 1974; it is a modern 5-storey building with 3 lifts, a spacious hall and a reception. The little indoor garden, with its large trees, grants a relaxing feel to the common areas.
Residence Porta Al Prato has 47 apartments, elegantly outfitted with post-modern designer furniture. All apartments boast large windows and, for the most part, large balconies as well. There are apartments for one, 2 and 3 people, each comprising of a drawing room, one or 2 bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Many of the apartments have been recently renovated, while maintaining their signature style and design.
Residence Porta Al Prato doesn’t have a restaurant, but there are several options in the surroundings, including international cuisine, pizzerias, fast-food, bars, bakeries and rotisseries.
Apartment keys are delivered on arrival and must be returned on departure. This will allow you to enter and leave the residence at any time. Please note: You must notify the 24-hour reception in advance if you have any visitors who are not staying at the residence. Please contact the residence with your approximate arrival time. This will give the hotel ample time to prepare and clean your reserved apartment. In this way, the residence can reduce waiting time for clients at check in.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
