- Motorway A2 (5), change to B224 southbound into Essen.
From the East (Dortmund, Kassel):
- Motorway A40 (24), turn right at the end of the exit, follow the tram downhill and cross the railway.
From the South (Frankfurt via A3, Düsseldorf and Düsseldorf Airport International via A52):
- Motorway A52 (29) and follow this street straight on northbound into Essen.
From the West (Duisburg and southern Netherlands):
- Motorway A40 (23), after leaving the motorway in a 360 degree turn, the street crosses the railway and leads you to the Varnhorst-roundabout.

The traditional Essener Hof is the oldest hotel in Essen and a perfect location for cultural (musicals and museums) and business visits or just for relaxing.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
