Try a few rounds on the rolling fairways of the Goose Valley Golf Course, designed by Gary Player. For the adventure lover the Stormsriver Bridge provides an extraordinary adrenalin rush as you throw yourself off a cliff and plunge 216 metres down into the gorge in the world’s highest bungee jump. Swing 30 metres off the forest floor between the trees in the Tsitsikamma Forest.

The area offers a variety of water sports, including sailing in the safe waters of the Bay, superb rock and surf fishing and scuba diving. Family activities are abundant with elephant feeding and whale watching.

The area is home to 10 important nature reserves, home to soft coral reefs, dolphins, seals and a host of other marine life.

The local indigenous forests have hiking trails which are renowned the world over and, as well as being the home of hundreds of species of bird, provide an exciting opportunity to see the last remaining forest elephants of South Africa.
