The breakfast is different and interesting. Specialities range from our wonderful South African fruits, in all forms and shapes, to the homemade pastries and other delights. Photos:

If you would like to go to the beach our local, Victoria Bay, is definitely the best. On any coast line in the world, I dare you to find a swimming beach that can equal its beauty, swimming and surfing qualities. There are only a few houses nearby, whales in season and dolphins all year round. Hikers will enjoy the scenic walk between the bay and the wilderness over the Kaaimans railway bridge.
Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe steam train from George to Knysna runs along the pristine coast and the lakes. Outeniqua Power Van takes you up to Outeniqua Mountain and halfway up Cradock Peak where you can enjoy a picnic.
The Dutch Reformed Church is directly opposite our house. It possesses some of the most stunning architecture in George. The pulpit is magnificent and made of stinkwood. The roof, floor and benches are of yellowwood.
To the west is Mosselbay, you may want to dare yourself and go shark cage diving, bungee jumping or to Seal Island. On your way home stop for a game drive or swim at Herolds Bay. To the north is Oudtshoorn where you should visit the world-famous Cango Caves, ride an ostrich and visit the crocodiles. There are stunning mountain passes all around you. To the east there is plenty of opportunity for extreme sports such as paragliding or abseiling. There are wonderful trails for hikers next to the lagoon, the river, forest or sea where you can kayak, canoe or just enjoy the outdoors. Do your shopping in Knysna at the Waterfront, head home back to George and come and enjoy your evenings at the guest house.!
