La Malouinière, in other words "vacation" house was a manor house built in the hinterland of St Malo (famous port in the north- west of France) in the XVII and XVIIIth centuries by wealthy shipowners and corsairs to rest and express their social position.

In Chateau Richer, this magnificent manor house built in the XIXth century was the cradle of Lemoine Des Pins' family- an important family of the village-whose several members are buried in the local church.

La Malouinière, your guesthouse belongs to three French people coming from St Malo and who like travelling around the world.

They have made of this ancestral manor house their new home base to share with you the French way of life.

In the morning, you will enjoy a buffet breakfast served in the warm and refined environment of the dining-room, while listening to a music which matches the atmosphere of this manor.

In summer, breakfast will be served outside around the swimming- pool and the nearby river.

Fresh fruit, home-made pastries and jams, cold dishes, cooked breakfast, different sorts of omelettes will be offered, for an excellent breakfast.

In the evening dinner is available (if you book in advance). It's an opportunity to have a friendly time enjoying French specialties cooked by your hostess with products from the vegetable garden.

At 15 minutes of La Malouinière, the largest downhill ski resort in Eastern Canada (64 slopes), the largest cross-country ski centre in Canada and eastern North America (130 miles network) offer the great world Cup annual competitions.

Besdies skiing, guests can enjoy the following outdoor and sporting activities in the surrounding area of the hotel: alpinskiing, ice-skating, snowmobiling, dog-sledding, ice climbing at Montmorency falls, a meal in a sugar shack, parasailing, horseback riding, golf and much more!

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
Up to three children under 3 years are charged CAD 25.00 per night when using existing bedding.
Up to three children from 4 to 14 years are charged CAD 40.00 per night when using existing bedding.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: 16.5 % Tax is not included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
