The Hotel Baumgartnerhof stands for nature and healthy air. The Alpine & Nature Wellness activities include hiking, climbing, outdoor adventures, mountain biking, Nordic walking, cultural events and there is a beach near by on the Lake Faakersee (with drinkable water).

The small Baumgartnerhöhe ski area (T-bar lift and nursery slope) is next to our house: skiable terrain for novices and families.

A 2km long luge track departs on the doorstep and takes you right through the scenic Karawankenwald forest.

All rooms have a panoramic view. Special: the apartment house "die Huab'n" can host between 6 and 10 persons.

At 950 metres above sea level, Hotel Baumgartnerhof overlooks the castle arena Finkenstein (which hosts various concerts and events during summer) and is only a few km from Kanziani mountain and Lake Faak. During winter, guests can make use of the ski resort nearby or go tobogganing. In the summer months, activities include hiking tours and mountain climbing.

By Car (from Salzburg):
- Take the A10/E55 motorway to the Villach junction.
- Take the A2/E55 towards Udine (Italy).
- Exit at the B84 Villach-Faakersse in the direction of Faaker.
- You will see the village Drobollach; turn right to the village Faak am See.
- Drive straight ahead under the railway to the roundabout.
- Turn left and drive straight ahead to the village Latschach.
- Turn right and follow the signs for the hotel-restaurant Baumgartnerhof (4.5 km).

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 8.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 8.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
