The resort features five enticing restaurants where you can taste award-winning cuisine. But first, you can enjoy drinks by the pool under the stars while listening to Caribbean music; the gazebo bar is open from 10:00 until 00:00. The Yacht Club: Informal buffet restaurant poolside. The Tropical Playa Dorada Resort & Spa is located right on the golden sand beach of Playa Dorada, nearby of a Robert Trent Jones golf course, just 15 Km. from Puerto Plata’s International airport and 5 kms. from downtown Puerto Plata, surrounded by exuberant tropical gardens and close access to Casinos, shopping and exciting nightlife. Horse back riding, fishing, and scuba diving are all within walking distance from the hotel.
