The Fountains Hotel is a full service hotel with concierge and porters. Guests can enjoy buffet meals in the Terrace Restaurant and drinks in the Terrace Bar. Room service is available 24 hours a day (with a limited menu during the early morning hours). Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in all of the hotel’s public areas.

There is also a small, fully-equipped gym, a sauna and a heated indoor swimming pool.

The hotel is located at the bottom of the walk way of St Georges Mall, overlooking Thibault Square on the one side and the Fountains in Heerengracht on the other side. The Cape Town International Convention Centre is just down the road and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is within walking distance.

By Car (from the airport or anywhere outside Cape Town):
- Take the N1 or N2 towards Cape Town.
- Follow signs towards the V&A Waterfront & Cape Town Convention Centre.
- At the end of the motorway, continue straight on, past the first set of traffic lights in Cape Town (the V&A Waterfront entrance is on the right).
- Pass the second set of traffic lights (100 metres).
- At the third set of traffic lights, turn left into Riebeeck Street.
- At the fifth set of traffic lights (they are all within a few hundred meters), turn left into St George’s Mall (pedestrian area).
- The hotel is situated 50 metres down on St George’s Mall.
