Our Superior Rooms are spacious and elegant, ideal for both leisure and business travellers.

Guests can be comfortably entertained in a mini-lounge area which has a writing desk complete with stationery, ideal for catching up on correspondence. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom which varies in size depending on the location of the room. The rooms have a choice of twin or king-size beds.

Superior Rooms are situated in the Oasis Wing, the Main Hotel and in Green Park. Interconnecting rooms in Green Park are available on request.

The 96 Superior Rooms vary in size, ranging from 42m² to 61m², depending on the location.

Luxury RoomTop
Our Luxury Rooms have an understated old-world charm, complemented by modern luxury for the discerning traveller.

They are larger in size than Superior Rooms, with more spacious sitting areas. Luxury Rooms also offer a choice of twin or king-size beds with a view of either our magnificent gardens, Table Mountain, or a balcony overlooking a tinkling fountain and courtyard.

As with our Superior Rooms, guests can be comfortably entertained in a mini-lounge area. In this area there is a writing desk complete with stationery, ideal for catching up on correspondence. All rooms have an en suite bathroom which varies in size, depending on the location of the room;
Luxury Rooms are located in the Main Hotel, Green Park and Taunton House. Interconnecting rooms are available on request in the Main Hotel and Green Park.

Our stylish new bar, Planet, provides the perfect setting for sipping champagne and cocktails under the African night sky.

By Car From Cape Town International Airport:
- Proceed onto the N2 motorway, staying in the right-hand side of the left lane, in the direction of 'City' or 'Cape Town'.
- Continue along the N2. After you pass the Liesbeek Parkway off-ramp, get into the lane 2nd from the right, following the signs to the city.
- You will pass under 2 bridges, and at the 3rd bridge, the road forks with the option of an off-ramp to the left, or a bend to the right.
- Follow the bend to the right and the N2 will then merge with the M3 to form 5 lanes of traffic.
- The road then forks with the 2 left lanes forming De Waal Drive and the 2 right lanes forming Eastern Boulevard.
- Ensure that you move into one of the 2 left lanes as you need to proceed along De Waal Drive.
- Continue along De Waal Drive which winds its way around the foot of Table Mountain.
- As you pass under an overhead walkway, slow down, as just before the overhead road bridge you need to take the off-ramp left into Mill Street.
- Continue along Mill Street/Orange Street, passing through 2 sets of traffic lights.
- Before the pedestrian traffic lights on your left-hand side, you will see the landmark Prince of Wales Pillars, signifying the entrance to the Mount Nelson Hotel.
Transfers Complimentary transfers are available to the waterfront throughout the day and take 10-15 minutes. Transfers are available to Cape Town Railway Station for the Blue Train and Rovos Rail connections. Distance to the station is
3 km.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children under 16 years are charged ZAR 600.00 per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged 50 % of the room stay per night for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
1 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs ZAR 50.00 per hour.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is not included and costs ZAR 165.00 per person.

Parking: Free private parking is possible on site.

Pets: Pets are not allowed.
