This 5-star, private luxury lodge at the edge of Lake Taupo has been thoughtfully designed for the comfort and pleasure of the guests. With the secluded surroundings and only four bedrooms, privacy is assured. With views over Lake Taupo and Mt. Tauhara, the spacious lounge area with Finnish soap-stone log fire can be enjoyed with pastimes such as a game of chess, reading, or enjoying a glass of fine wine. The lodge is outfitted with many little technical details that help you switch off from every-day life, such as easy listening music preferences and personal mood lighting adjustments. Additional facilities include a sauna and a state-of-the-art digital home-theatre system complete with big screen plasma TV. All rooms include an ensuite bathroom with luxurious bathrobes, under floor heating, toiletries and hairdryer. Three of the suites have large baths as well as walk in showers and a separate toilet. A culinary 4-course dinner is optional at $75 per person including tax and excluding wines or soft drinks. Our chef can prepare dinner to your preferences; please let us know in advance. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
